Stetly
Publish from your pocket, not from wp-admin.
A fast, private WordPress editor for iPhone and iPad. Write a post, drop in photos from your camera roll, and publish to any site you run — in about the time it takes wp-admin to load.
Everything you actually need
The publishing tools from wp-admin, shaped for a phone
Every site you run
Connect as many WordPress sites as you like and switch between them with a tap. No re-entering passwords, no logging out.
Real media handling
Galleries, featured images, alt text and captions. Photos are resized on your device before they ever leave it, so uploads stay quick.
Share straight in
Send photos to Stetly from Photos or any other app and they land in a new draft, ready for words.
Schedule & draft
Publish now, queue it for later, or leave it as a draft on the site to finish at your desk.
Comments on the go
Approve, reply to and clear your pending comment queue without opening a browser.
Offline retry queue
Lose signal mid-publish and the post waits safely on your device, then sends itself when you're back.
A calm place to write
Typography-first, with the chrome kept out of the way
Connected in three taps
No API keys, no config files, no plugin to install
Enter your site
Type your WordPress address. Stetly requires HTTPS — your credentials never travel in the clear.
Sign in on your own site
Your site's real login page opens and WordPress asks whether to authorise Stetly. Your password is never seen or stored by the app.
Start writing
WordPress issues an Application Password just for Stetly, which you can revoke any time from your profile. That's it.
Built to stay out of your data
Not a promise — an architecture
There is no Stetly server
The app talks only to the WordPress sites you connect, over HTTPS. It has nowhere else to send anything, because nothing else exists.
No analytics, no SDKs
No trackers, no crash reporters, no advertising identifier, and not a single third-party code library in the app.
Keys stay on your device
Application Passwords live in the iOS Keychain, marked available only on that device and only while it's unlocked. Never synced, never sent to us.
No account required
There's nothing to sign up for. You never give us an email address, because we have no way to use one.

Questions, answered
The things people ask before installing
Yes — that's the point. Stetly works with any WordPress site running 5.6 or later that is served over HTTPS and has the REST API available. Self-hosted, managed hosting, or your own server: all the same to the app.
No. Stetly uses the WordPress REST API and Application Passwords, both of which are built into WordPress core. There is nothing to install and nothing to maintain on your site.
Never. You sign in on your own site's login page, and WordPress hands the app a separate Application Password scoped just to Stetly. You can revoke it at any time from Users → Profile in wp-admin, without changing your real password.
The post is kept in an offline queue with its photos, and sends itself once you're back online. You can also retry or discard it by hand.
No. Drafts live on your device until you publish them to your own site. There is no Stetly server for them to pass through.
Yes. Stetly is a universal app with a sidebar layout on iPad, and one purchase covers every device on your Apple Account.
Write your next post from the bus.
Stetly is coming to the App Store for iPhone and iPad. One site free, forever — no account, no ads, no tracking.
