Stetly is a WordPress publishing app for iPhone and iPad, developed by Creative Noesis. We take your privacy seriously.

📋 Data Collection

Stetly does not collect any personal information. Specifically:

• No names, email addresses, or contact information
• No device identifiers or advertising identifier (IDFA)
• No location data
• No usage analytics or behavioural tracking
• No cookies or similar tracking technologies
• No crash or error reports sent to us

We do not track you across apps or websites, and we have no account system — there is nothing for you to sign up for and no profile for us to build.

📱 What the App Stores on Your Device

Stetly keeps everything it needs locally, inside its own sandboxed storage on your iPhone or iPad:

• WordPress site details — the site address and username you connect.
• WordPress Application Passwords — stored in the iOS Keychain, marked as available only when the device is unlocked and only on that device. They are not synchronised to iCloud and are never sent anywhere except to the site they belong to.
• Drafts and queued posts — post text and any attached photos, until you publish or delete them.
• Photos shared into the app — held briefly in a shared container so the share extension can hand them to the main app.
• Preferences — such as which site is active and whether the settings lock is on.

Deleting the app removes all of it. Removing a site inside the app deletes that site's stored password.

🌐 Who the App Talks To

Stetly makes network requests to exactly one kind of destination: the WordPress sites you choose to connect. It uses the standard WordPress REST API, and it refuses to connect over plain HTTP — HTTPS is required, so your credentials and drafts are encrypted in transit.

What reaches your site is what you would expect: the posts, media, categories, tags and comments you are working with. That data is then governed by your own site's privacy policy and your host's terms, not by this one.

Stetly contacts no other servers. It does not phone home, check for messages, or report usage.

🖼️ Photos and Media

When you attach an image, iOS gives Stetly access only to the items you pick. Images are resized and compressed on your device to keep uploads small, and are then sent only to the WordPress site you are publishing to.

👤 Face ID and Touch ID

If you turn on the settings lock, Stetly asks iOS to verify you. The check happens entirely inside iOS: the app is told only whether it succeeded. Your biometric data is never available to Stetly and never leaves your device.

🔗 Third-Party Services

Stetly contains no third-party code libraries at all:

• No advertising SDKs — the app is completely ad-free
• No analytics tools — no Firebase, Google Analytics, or similar services
• No social media SDKs — no sharing or login integrations
• No crash reporting tools — no external error logging

💳 Purchases

Stetly Pro is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Apple processes the payment and tells your device whether a valid purchase exists. We never see or receive your payment details, card number, or billing address. Apple provides us only with aggregated, anonymous sales reports. Apple's handling of that transaction is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.

🚫 Sharing and Selling Data

We have no data about you, so there is nothing to share or sell. We do not sell personal information, and we do not disclose data to advertisers, data brokers, or any other third party.

🧒 Children

Stetly is a publishing tool for website owners and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

⚖️ Your Rights

Privacy laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, export and delete personal data a company holds about you. Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to produce or erase. The data inside the app is under your control on your own device, and the content on your WordPress site is under your control on your own server.

📝 Changes to This Policy

If we ever update this privacy policy, we will post the revised version on this page with an updated "Last updated" date, and note significant changes in the app's release notes.
